Opened December 17, 2007, Wilder Public Relations Firm Inc. is an established public relations company owned and operated by Annette Wilder. Preceding the opening of this company, Annette Wilder honed her skills as the media maven for the prestigious AVENUE Inc. With her determination, talent, and social savvy, her service was an integral part of the success of owner Rusch Raymaker and her company. Annette's public relations work in the fast paced Second Life fashion world through AVENUE Inc. sharpened her skills as a communicator and in the time since, she has used those skills to develop a vast network of contacts in both first and second life media, helping to cultivate a thriving public relations firm.
In addition to being a successful Second Life entrepreneur, Annette also has real life achievements to her credit. Upon completing her Bachelors of Science in Communication with an emphasis in advertising, Annette quickly gained much experience and insight through her work in the marketing/advertising field. With this knowledge informing her approach to public relations, coupled with her keen understanding of the Second Life platform and its business community, Annette is a natural at promoting and publicizing all types of in-world events and projects. A strong leader and determined individual, Annette Wilder is a person you can trust to handle all of your business's public relations needs.
Ansleigh Beverly
Office Manager and Webmaster
Ansleigh has been with the firm since March of 2009. In this short span of time, she has shown an impressive grasp of the workings of Second Life and a shrewd business sense. She has varied experience in the SL workforce, including time as the copy editor for AVENUE Magazine- most notably her work on the special 2009 SLCC Convention issue.
Bringing to Wilder PR a strong work ethic and fresh ideas, Ansleigh has been an integral part of many of the firm's newest projects. A proficient writer, webdesigner, and administrator, she has endeavored in her short tenure as office manager to improve efficiency and make interactions with the firm easier and more beneficial to clients. She has streamlined the new client application process, overseen the renovation of the website, and publicized new information and overviews about the company, all in an effort to help potential clients get the most they can out of their contact with Wilder PR. Her tenacity and intelligence make her a valuable asset to the Wilder team and to the clients that she serves through her work at Wilder Public Relations Firm.
Veronica Ogleby
Office Assistant and Social Media Overseer
The newest addition to the firm, hired in January of 2010, is assistant Veronica Ogleby. With her knowledge of SL, impressive networks, and insights into getting information across the grid, Veronica has quickly shown her many skills and proven herself essential to the Wilder team.
As the office assistant, Veronica is any new client's first point of contact. Veronica will be happy to answer any questions pertaining to the company and to provide additional information if needed. All new client information sheets should be filled out completely and returned to Veronica. Potential new clients should allow up to five business days for a response. Due to her communication and networking skills, Veronica has been given the position of Social Media Overseer for Wilder PR. She now moderates our Plurk and Avatars United pages. Any questions or information regarding Wilder's social media outreach should be directed to her. In her short time with Wilder Public relations, Veronica has truly shined, and great things are surely in store for her with the company.
